The Ancient Civilization of the Etruscans is located in central Italy just north of Rome and is known this day as modern day Tuscany.
The homeland was originally divided into twelve centers known as city states and over time, their traditions had a profound influence on wider Italy, helping to shape the civilization of Ancient Rome and western culture.
