Peter Britton, the publishing manager of the TimeMaps project, spoke at the Schools History Project Conference in Leeds on 3rd July about the TimeMaps series and particularly about the first title, The Rise and Fall of Nazi Germany. He was delighted with its reception - of the attendees at his workshop, more than half have since ordered the title on approval. He was also extremely pleased with the way they - and others who viewed the program for the first time at the conference - were able to give such high quality feed back. The workshop became more of a dialogue than a presentation, and Peter probably did more listening than speaking. The suggestions made are even now being incorporated into the product.
