History Window provides company information on TimeMaps and a showcase of its history products.

The concept of TimeMaps evolved from what we believe to be the best way of teaching history. Over the years we have created resources based on maps combined with timelines to show change over time. We believe that maps provide an excellent way of visualising the situation, showing where influences on a place came from and seeing what environmental pressures a place has on it.

Using a timeline combined with a map lets us see the history of a place develop and how the context is different than when it first began. For example, if a civilization has significantly expanded and has taken over numerous cities and cultures, you can understand how these places will have impacted on the civilization.

TimeMaps provide a visual and interactive way of navigating around animated maps, so you can use them at your own pace, following strands of information or perhaps only looking at particular areas.
